Manufacturing of medical grad Surfacine products depend upon the substrate and desired thickness. For most applications, Surfacine is supplied as a two part thermal cure system. The process consists of a simple dip coating, curing, washing, followed by a second dip coat, washing and final drying. Such coatings show excellent adhering bond strength on a variety of plastic surfaces without prior treatment.

Alternatively, Surfacine can be supplied as a one-part formulation with thermal curing after coating for applications where the ultimate coating thickness and uniformity is not critical to the application. Additionally, masking may be utilized for selective coating applications.

Consumer product grades are applied as a self curing spray for surfaces or cream for skin applications.
